New blog

Because I really don't procrastinate enough already, I started a Tumblr.

As far as I can tell, 'tumbling' is a bit like 'blogging', except instead of spending your days in a dark room desperately trying to think up clever and/or funny things to write, you just quote other clever and/or funny people and post interesting pictures, thus making yourself appear funny, clever and interesting all in one go by default.

Excellent, but will there still be your little vignettes of Dorothy Parker doing Merchant Ivory? We live for those, you know.

you have no idea how happy that comment has made me

I WILL NEVER TURN MY BACK ON BLOGGING!

That Eoghan Harris quote has made me despondent. Or is it despondant?

Fuck it, seeing as I can't even spell I might as well go off and find myself a woman. I'll report back.

I went back the following Monday. But mostly because I thought he was just being hyperbolic and I could actually have it all.

WRONG.

Keep it up Annie girl. I love it when you blog, blonk or tumble and I think you're both clever and funny.

Have you changed the strings on your new guitar yet?

I hope you don't give up on blogging. If I listed all the bits that have made me scream with laughter or think furiously or just get a nice warm feeling, it would be a very long list.

you're too good to me guys

will try my best

Yes, I changed the strings, forget what they're called but they're bronze. Which do you recommend? I want to try something else. They're kind of quiet, I'd like something brighter for finger-picky stuff.

Tumblr is sort of del.icio.us on steroids, isn't it? Think I may hop on board, when my current flurry of activity abates.

And please don't turn your back on blogging. All the other buggers are slipping away. It's sad.

I'll say it again: I will NEVER turn my back on blogging. I can see the appeal of Twitter and how a lot of people have moved over to that, it's just that I'm not very good at it. I mean, I'm concise but I'm not THAT concise.

Dr Konstantin: Why did I think that was Northern Iceland? I think I just saw: big ship! Fog! And jumped to conclusions. But actually big ship + fog = pretty much anywhere in Iceland right.

I like the idea of stealing other peoples stuff. I could call it recycling while claiming to be green at the same time....

Tumblr? No relation to Twitter?

I will go get a fresh cup of coffee and sit and figure it all out.

(Your new blog that is, not *all* as in life, the universe and everything.)
