  1. Why is everyone on the internet having such a good time at the moment?!

I think what you're doing is fantastic AR - There are some really interesting people out there and you're getting to meet them and enjoy a brief taster of their lives. (So is Wies, obv)

  3. You know what, it is great. It's the best thing I could have done right now. Getting to meet people off the net is the best bit, I recommend it.

  5. Well, Sam, it appears you live in some sort of glowing, golden, soft focus rural paradise!

Or an episode of Stairway to Heaven, or something. How totally beautiful!

Lovely to see you and your family :)

  6. Ten years ago my friends and I backpacked all around Europe and the US meeting people off the internet. We were cutting edge, man... cutting edge. But we had the most FANTASTIC time... absinthe in former east Berlin, sleeping on dorm floors, eating Movenpick, cocktails at an Elvis altar... we could have been killed, but my instincts were right ... the people were great :)
