ReplyDeleteThank you. That middle shot is in the Icelandic highlands — I didn't desaturate the landscape colours, the sand just really is that black. The giraffes are in Cork (seriously) and the statue is in Venice.

Krummi, it was taken near the mountain hut at Hvangill, in the highlands. Very similar to Myrdalssandur though, yeah. Do you know that old aeroplane wreck down on the black sand near Vik? I was trying to look it up but don't know if it has a name.
