Anna in Ursula's Kitchen
This is my new friend Anna: she's a Danish pianist in Reykjavik, and this year she's starting a rock band. This pic was taken on the last night of my holiday in Iceland at Christmas. "Ursula's Kitchen" isn't the name of her band though — that really is Ursula's kitchen.

Crop — nearly everything I do is editing in photoshop. Although, in this case the lighting in the kitchen was quite poor, so I shot with a really fast film speed, which gives the grainy look. It came out quite yellow (common with the Pentax K100 I'm told) so I desaturated it a bit afterwards and messed with the levels. Then le crop. I like it because it looks quite French — the mixture of le stripey top and le jars of 'erbs on le shelves. Anna lived in France for the summer so it fits.
