Everybody loves dolphins

There is so little going on in Wales that the news teams have to make most of the headlines up. If it hadn't have been for our lucky outbreak of bird-flu yesterday then the only news we'd have got would've been Scientists Discover Dolphins Talking With Welsh Accents. I'm not joking.

Oh well, I'm going back to Ireland soon. At least they have Sinn Fein.

  1. Whenever I try and do a Welsh accent I always end up sounding Indian. Perhaps this Dolphin has a similar problem.

  2. Hey on the BBC website there's a video about osprey chicks being fed in Wales. And you're saying nothing makes the news there? :)))

  3. Hmm, I think I may have picked a bad week for this.

Okay, nothing makes the news here UNLESS IT HAS SOMETHING TO DO WITH ANIMALS.

Yeah. The dolphins in our estuary seem to have a local accent as well.

I don't think it's Welsh or Irish. More likely it's a form of dolphin.

  5. They, the dolphins, are confused. They are trying to be one with the Whales not the Wales or welsh.

By the way my name Rhett is actually Welsh and means small stream.

Maybe I should try to talk to the dolphins. Perhaps they may be snobbish because streams are fresh water.

    Oh well.

  7. They were nice enough to thank us for all the fish though.

  8. I've heard cows have accents too.

Devin, I now have "So long and thanks for all the fish!" going through my head.

  9. I once wrote a Limerick about a dolphin called Tim.

I don't have a copy of it to share, my Environment Philosophy tutor at university does though.

As it made up the entirety of my final exam.
