Saturday nights in Croydon, Surrey

Going out drinking missing two pints of blood from your system has its consequences. Being late for our film's casting session the next morning is one. Spending the rest of the weekend recovering and being fed pink wafer biscuits at my grandparents' house in Croydon is another.

It may be 30°C outside, but we closed all the windows and stuck the heating on (just in case we got a bit chilly) before settling down to watch the National Lottery results -- despite not having a ticket between us.

  1. You're showing signs of premature middle age. It's like Alzheimers but more more debilitating.

  2. Yes, you're right.

About a year ago I started going to bed at 8 and getting up at 5:30, like a little old lady.

  4. I wonder what I'll be like when I'm old and dithering. I can't imagine myself ever getting up early without a struggle. No matter what time I go to bed the night before 7:30 always seems like too early.

  5. Do you still get up at 5.30am? I'd liike to train myself to have less sleep - don't want to go to bed at 8pm but do want to get up with the lark.

How long you back in Blighty for? (sorry if you have this in previous post, am playting catch up)

  6. Well, I'm getting up at 6.30 these days because I have to commute from Tunbridge Wells.

I'll be here for another 2 weeks. Time is flying by!

  7. Watching the lottery draw as non-ticket holders?

It's like visiting Selhurst Park when Palace are playing away!
