This film stuff is bloody hard work, y'know. Much harder than sitting at a desk in Iceland making adverts and staring dreamily at the mountains.
I've never been much of a technical person, but I've made an awesome Director of Photography, it has to be said. I was doing maths and science, subtracting fractions and other impossible things like that, all the while bossing everybody around effectively.
Brilliant.

And the award for the best children's illustrator goes to...
ReplyDeleteWhy why why did I ever mention that to anyone?
I know, I know. The pressure is really on now. I reckon if I haven't made a short within the next three years (including distribution and a screening, somewhere) I'm going to have to eat my hat.
ReplyDeleteSo that means I still have two years left before eating my hat right? Ah sure that's grand, now where did I put my colouring pencils. Anyway I'll have loads of time to do it when the Irish economy crashes. Which is happening in february. Word on the street.
ReplyDeleteYeah, and you don't even have a hat.
