The word "DJ" does to women what the word "sister" does to men. It conjures up visions of a very sexy, very attractive, very cool member of the opposite sex.
My friend Eavan got off with the DJ on Saturday night. I’m impressed.

I know what you mean. I once went to this electro club in Berlin where a girl, who was actually an ex-pupil of mine, was DJ-ing(...I sound like a perv now, don't I?).She was somewhat good looking, but seeing her there behind the turntables, laying down some pretty cool grooves, made my knees turn weak. It was the first and only time I've felt like a groupie :-)
ReplyDeleteThank you Annie
ReplyDeleteThe thing is I hadn't really noticed if he was sexy, attractive and cool. It was just the end of the night and I needed to kiss someone.
I had only three possible 'choices': the transvestite, the gay friend or the DJ. As it turned out, he was sexy, attractive, cool AND a great kisser. Which is a bit of a find in Connemara.
Ingó, if she was a DJ, a pupil and (I'm guessing) also somebody's sister then it doesn't get any better than that.
ReplyDeleteEavan, Bjarni calls those end of the night people "Quarter to threes".
But you are the best kisser in Connemara.
Even worse, he was my "Quarter to six".
ReplyDeleteYes, that was one damn lucky DJ.
