... and opera.
ReplyDeleteExcept country and opera, of course.
And emo.
I hate country, opera, death metal, R&B, hard house, techno, euro pop and anything by Ronan Keating but that goes without saying, obviously
ReplyDeleteAll music is shit except for AC/DC, The Rolling Stones and The Corrs.
ReplyDeleteEver see the Blues Brothers movie? Where they tell Jake, "Oh, we have both kinds of music here."
ReplyDelete"Both kinds?"
"Yeah, country AND western."
I know a lot of people telling me they hate country, but while being alone you will find them singing country!
ReplyDeleteYou know that Dylan's "Nashville Skyline" is essentially a country album? And a great one at that.
ReplyDeleteWhat exactly do you mean by country music? Does it even exist outside the US?
ReplyDeleteThis week I am mostly listening to Gillian Welch and Cowboy Junkies.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to make my feelings towards Dylan clear in a new post.
i love country - especially really naff stuff like kenny rogers
ReplyDeleteI didn't really like the naff stuff until I went to a naff Wild West murder mystery last week. Now I'm playing Jolene on repeat.
ReplyDeleteThat is one heart-breaking motherfucker of a song.
I've recently got into Jeff Buckley. Does that count?
ReplyDeleteThat's the Hallelujah dude, right? Couldn't tell you mate. Not a fan. Although I do like that song.
